"Children are the most reasonable people I know. Their
days are spent trying to make sense of the world, searching for meaning,
figuring things out."
Raffi, from his Autobiography

Jason Program team members
took 5 program children and their families to hear Raffi, a Toronto-based
children's singer-songwriter, in concert. He graciously met with them
individually after the concert, taking time to speak with each child and
singing their favorite song to them. Throughout his career, Raffi has
vigorously supported programs that enrich the lives of children. In this
photo, Kate presents him with our Spirit of Hope Award, for helping
children transition with peace.

"If we do not acknowledge and support the intrinsic
ability of the child, we fail in our obligation to that child in one form
