In July 2004, Starlight Children’s Foundation officially merged with
its sister organization, Starbright Children’s Foundation. We’re thrilled
to now offer Starbright’s exceptional programs in our region. Using
state-of-the-art technology, Starbright programs use entertainment to help
educate, empower and enlighten seriously and chronically ill children.

speaks to teens in their own language about issues ranging from diagnosis,
to the side effects of chemotherapy and feeling out of place among peers.
Starbright World®– a private online community for children and teens
living with a chronic or serious illness to connect from both their
hospital rooms and homes.
Quest for the Code® Asthma CD-ROM Game – comprehensive asthma
education is woven into an engaging storyline, featuring rich 3-D
graphics, animation, and the talent of eleven top celebrities.
The X-Men® in “Life Lessons” – an authentic Marvel® comic book
featuring the X-Men® that helps children cope with serious burn injuries.
Explorer Series® - interactive multimedia programs featuring
information on Sickle Cell Disease, kidney disease, Cystic Fibrosis, IVs,
blood tests, medical imaging, bone marrow, and spinal tap.
Videos with Attitude® - documentary video series featuring teens
discussing the challenges they face as a result of their illness, and the
solutions they’ve found.
Family Room™ - online community providing information and resources to
help families care for their seriously ill child.
Hospital Pals® - an innovative tool for healthcare providers designed
to reduce anxiety and the need for anesthesia in preschool age children
undergoing radiation therapy.
