Hope is an ever opening door.

Hope--a tool for living, varies according to different situations.

My hope: we all would know God, and no one ever dies alone. Hope for a miracle. Knowing the sun will rise and I will be loved forever.

Hope is kindness. Hope is listening. Pieces of hope: a smile, a hug, someone listening , actively!

The knowingness that the frozen river will begin to thaw, the ice will crack and the water will be able to move once more. Sunrise, sunset, the sea, prayer, support... Hope is believing that someday you will again notice the warmth of the sun, a gentle breeze, sand between your toes, and the smell of the ocean. A candle in a darkened room...a single ray of sunshine streaming through the clouds. A flickering flame on a candle; life and love; the miracle of love. A crocus coming through the snow in early spring. White doves.

Hope: watching a single leaf stay on a tree throughout an entire New England winter.

A whole night’s sleep.
Hope: butterflies in my stomach. Hope is sharing, caring, and understanding. Sunrise and new beginnings. Memories to cherish forever. Clouds part just a little to show a glimpse of blue sky or a ray of sun to show through. The wonder of each moment of a plant--sprout-bud-flower-seed pod-brown leaves--each containing all the others but whole as it is.

Image of hope: a rainbow of soft pastel light where there are no boundaries.

Flowers that bloom all year long. Unconditional love and understanding. Hope:  Believing, peace, trust. Hope is being in a very dark place and knowing that there is light ahead. Hope is sunshine after rain. Springtime. Looking up at the sky with a peaceful smile. Sunshine and a deep breath of fresh air on a summer day. Hope is: the first star I see tonight, a hug, warm arms reaching out to hold or be held.

Hope: Piece of mind and spirit fueled by peace.

Hope: loving, strong arms holding me up to the healing light. I hope I will be able to manage gracefully. If my mind is connected to God, if my soul is calm and my heart satisfied, then I have hope; sharing with loved ones will enhance all that. Hope: looking forward and planning for tomorrow, knowing that my garden will bloom despite the mounds of snow.
Death loses its sting when there is assurance of eternal life.

Pieces of hope: Promise of a new spring. transformation from the bud to the flower, the egg to the bird, the seed to the grain, suffering to healing, aloneness to connection, death to resurrection.

Hope is prayer answered with grace.

Hope is the feeling that no matter how you feel now, things will get better. Peace--goal--prayer--wish--want--something to look forward to.

Hope is believing there is an opportunity for meaning, for connection, for joy in any situation. Hope: the sense of absolute certainty and peace inside--when you just know that whatever comes, you can accept and move forward. Knowing I can’t stop the waves but wanting to learn to surf.

Hope: Belief that there will be more shedding of trapped pain replaced by trust and love.

Hope: light, peace, calm.
