Title: End of Life Care Course Syllabus Very Good

Author: Steven Pantilat, M.D.

This comprehensive syllabus and teacher's guide is for a 7-part curriculum on end of life care and was designed for medicine residents and hospitalist trainees. The syllabus includes handouts, cases, and reprints. In addition, the teacher's guide contains suggestions for how to teach the material for each section, additional handouts and readings, pretest, posttest, retrospective posttest and evaluation forms for each session.

One reviewer wrote, "The strength of this curriculum is its objectives and references" and cautions that there is a large amount of material to cover and that others may wish to make some adaptations to the materials. However, the materials are thorough and well designed. (Note: Users may need to seek copyright approval for reprints used in these materials.)
