The Jason Program is pleased to announce the
receipt of a $2000 grant from the Common Good Grant program of
Bowdoin College.
This program, established last year to provide students an experience in
philanthropy, received an anonymous donation of $10,000 this year.
Volunteer students, with faculty support, reviewed 40 applications for
this grant. They chose 7 local non-profit organizations to share in the
award. At the award ceremonies, the students, faculty, and recipients
shared a common thread of passion and compassion for the human spirit. We
are not only grateful for the award, but are touched by that collective
drive to help people in need and the rich rewards it will bring to them.
