Jason Program Newsletter, June 3, 2002   We exist simply because children have touched our hearts. We believe they should be listened to and cared for. This newsletter is a brief one, written primarily to notify you of the change in scheduling of our annual conference. Initially set for June 20-22, it has now been rescheduled for October 3-5, 2002. Fortunately, our lead speakers, Bruce P. Himelstein, MD, Suzanne Toce, MD, and Paul Berkner, DO, will still attend. You can still view the details of this conference on our New England Conference page, and follow the links to register by mail, phone, or through the internet from our site. We are thrilled with the quality of speakers this year, and hope all those interested will be able to attend and participate.   Please check out the News page for the latest in local news. The lead article describes Kate's very healthy and persistent determination to help critically ill children.  In addition, you may wish to view details of our Advanced Training Course, offered August 21-25 and the Westbrook campus of the University of New England. Since the last newsletter, the Professionals section has been updated. This area contains information not only on medical treatment options, but also legal issues and web links. Contributions to this section are welcome, especially from those who practice complimentary interventions. Please send me an e-mail if you wish to contribute here. As always, we encourage you to browse our site, as we update all sections as new information becomes available.   As always, on behalf of the children, we thank you for your interest and caring. Sincerely,  The Jason Program Team P.O.
